We named the salon after the Japanese word for white — a quiet kind of clarity.
For years, the Asian skincare ranges we'd been recommending to clients were hard to buy in Ireland.
So we built the shop we wished existed: K-beauty and J-beauty, shipped from Dublin, sat alongside the professional ranges we use every day in our Dublin treatment rooms.
Two things sit on these shelves, and we'd rather say which is which. The professional ranges are the ones we work with: PCA Skin, Comfort Zone, Kérastase, Oway. We don't put every product in those ranges on every client, but we know them, and we stand behind the quality of the whole line. Where we do use a particular product in the room, the page says so.
The Asian beauty edit is different, and we don't pretend otherwise. Those are products we've chosen because we rate them, not because they're on a trolley in Ranelagh.
