    YUME, dry head spa or Indian head massage?

    At Haku, the YUME head spa (€149, 65 min) uses water: shampoo, scalp treatment and a waterfall head bath on a Yume bed at Haku Blackrock. The dry Japanese head spa (€125, 55 min, both salons) keeps your hair dry. Indian head massage (€95, 40 min, both salons) is clothed: upper back, shoulders, neck and scalp.

    Does a head spa use water?

    The YUME head spa washes your hair; the dry Japanese head spa doesn't.

    The YUME Head Spa includes foot scrub and soak, scalp analysis, deep cleansing shampoo, scalp treatment and massage, the YUME waterfall head bath, hair treatment and a simple dry.

    The Dry Japanese Head Spa is done without washing the hair: a foot bath, hair combing, and back, head and neck massage with a gentle stretch.

    Which is more relaxing?

    That depends on you, so here is what happens in each.

    • Japanese Yume Head Spa

      65 min

      Foot scrub and soak, scalp analysis, deep cleansing shampoo, scalp treatment and massage, the YUME waterfall head bath, hair treatment and a simple dry.

    • Dry Japanese Head Spa

      55 min

      Without washing the hair: a foot bath, hair combing, and back, head and neck massage with a gentle stretch.

    • Indian Head Massage

      40 min

      Upper back, shoulders, neck and scalp, over light clothing, with no oil on the body.

    Which one for a first try?

    For a short first try, choose the Mini Head Spa (€79, 40 min) at Haku Blackrock. Closer to Ranelagh, choose the dry Japanese head spa (€125, 55 min).

    The Mini is not on the Yume bed and not in the YUME room. For the waterfall head bath, choose the YUME head spa.

      Scalp analysis, a Kérastase Fusio-Dose treatment, a shampoo and a simple dry, in a treatment room rather than on the Yume bed.

    Can men have a head spa?

    Yes. Every head spa at Haku is for anyone.

    There is also a Men's YUME Detox Head Spa, €159 for 70 minutes at Haku Blackrock: a deeper scalp cleanse, a hair care treatment, a shoulder massage and the waterfall head bath.
