GENOSYS Bio-Meso PDRN
Regenerative skin treatment
Genosys Bio-Meso PDRN is a clinical treatment that uses PDRN, a molecule derived from salmon DNA, to activate the skin's natural repair process. It improves hydration, texture, and skin quality over a course of sessions. There are no needles and minimal downtime.
What is PDRN?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, a fragment of purified DNA, originally sourced from the sperm DNA of wild salmon. It might sound unusual, but salmon DNA is remarkably similar to human DNA and has been used in regenerative medicine for over two decades. When applied to the skin, PDRN binds to specific receptors that trigger cell repair, stimulate collagen, improve microcirculation, and calm inflammation.
Genosys Bio-Meso is the professional clinical formulation, the same system used in Korean dermatology clinics. It is more concentrated than at-home PDRN serums and is administered as a guided facial using Genosys's professional protocol.
Recommended course
For meaningful results, scar refinement, mature skin rejuvenation, or barrier rebuilding after rosacea or active breakouts, a course of three to four sessions spaced two to three weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance every two to three months.
What to expect during treatment
Treatment lasts around 60 minutes. Your therapist will cleanse and prepare the skin, then infuse the Bio-Meso PDRN serum using Genosys's professional delivery system. The treatment is comfortable, you'll feel a cool, slightly tingling sensation but no real discomfort. Skin appears immediately plumper and more hydrated.
Downtime
Minimal. Some mild redness is possible for a few hours afterwards. Makeup can be applied the following day. SPF 50 is recommended for the week following treatment.
How it compares to microneedling
Standard microneedling triggers a controlled wound response to build new collagen, it's excellent for texture and scarring but can be too aggressive for sensitive or compromised skin. Bio-Meso PDRN works through biological signalling rather than physical trauma, which makes it ideal for clients who want regeneration without irritation: mature skin, rosacea-prone skin, post-acne barrier recovery, or anyone who simply wants the cumulative regenerative effect without the redness of needling.

What is PDRN?

When applied to the skin, PDRN binds to specific receptors that trigger cell repair, stimulate collagen, improve microcirculation, and calm inflammation.
What is the difference between PDRN and microneedling?
Standard microneedling triggers a controlled wound response to build new collagen, excellent for texture and scarring but sometimes too aggressive for sensitive or compromised skin. Bio-Meso PDRN works through biological signalling rather than physical trauma, making it ideal for mature skin, rosacea-prone skin, post-acne barrier recovery, or anyone who wants regenerative results without the redness and downtime of needling.
How many Bio-Meso PDRN sessions do I need?
For meaningful results, scar refinement, mature skin rejuvenation, or barrier rebuilding after rosacea or active breakouts, a course of three to four sessions spaced two to three weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance every two to three months.
Is PDRN Bio-Meso suitable for acne-prone skin?
Yes, PDRN is particularly well suited to acne and rosacea-prone skin because it reduces inflammation and supports barrier repair without the trauma of needling or the irritation of acids. It can be used to help calm active breakouts and to refine post-acne scarring and pigmentation.
What is downtime like after a PDRN treatment?
Minimal. Some mild redness is possible for a few hours afterwards. Makeup can be applied the following day and there are no flaking or peeling effects. SPF 50 is recommended for the week following treatment.
