    Why our HydraFacial is different

Most Dublin clinics charge €30–€60 to add LED at the end of a HydraFacial. At Haku, it is included in every treatment.

The treatment itself follows the four-step Hydrafacial MD™ protocol: cleanse and peel, extract and hydrate, fuse and protect, and finally LED. Our therapists are fully trained on the medical-grade Hydrafacial device and tailor the serums to your skin on the day.

    Best suited for

    • Congested or blackhead-prone skin
    • Dull, dehydrated, or tired-looking complexions
    • Fine lines and early signs of ageing
    • Uneven tone and sun damage
    • Sensitive skin that doesn't tolerate harsher peels
    • Pre-event glow before a wedding or special occasion

What to expect on the day

Allow 45 minutes from arrival. After a short consultation, your therapist will work through the Hydrafacial protocol, you may feel a gentle vacuum sensation during extraction but nothing painful. The treatment finishes under the LED panel for around 10 minutes. There's no downtime, you can wear makeup and return to normal activities the same day.

    Recommended course

A single session delivers an immediate glow. For lasting results on congestion, fine lines, or pigmentation, we recommend a course of six treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, which is why our 5+1 free package is the most popular option.

    Frequently asked

How is HydraFacial different from a regular facial?

A HydraFacial uses a medical-grade device to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate in one treatment. Unlike a traditional facial, there is no manual squeezing or harsh scrubbing. Results are immediate and there is no downtime.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

Most clients see best results from a HydraFacial every 4–6 weeks. A single session delivers an immediate glow, but for lasting improvement to congestion, fine lines, or uneven tone we recommend a course of six treatments, which is why our 5+1 free package is the most popular option.

Is HydraFacial suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. HydraFacial is one of the few clinical treatments suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. The treatment is non-irritating and can be customised on the day to avoid any ingredients that may cause a reaction.

What does LED light therapy do in a HydraFacial?

Every Haku HydraFacial finishes with LED light therapy at no extra cost. LED calms inflammation, supports collagen production, helps any active blemishes settle, and amplifies the hydrating and brightening results of the facial. Most Dublin clinics charge €30–€60 to add LED as an extra.

Is there any downtime after a HydraFacial?

None. HydraFacial is completely non-invasive, you can wear makeup the same day and return to normal activities immediately. Skin will appear plumper, brighter, and more hydrated straight after the treatment.
