    Visiting Haku

    Questions

    What is Kobido?

A Japanese face massage that works the muscles of the face and neck. At Haku it is part of a facial or a massage rather than a booking of its own.

What happens in the Haku Signature Facial?

A full facial with skincare chosen for your skin type, with the Kobido face massage at its centre. It finishes with a face mask and a scalp massage, and takes 65 minutes, at both salons.

Can I book Kobido on its own?

Not as its own appointment. Book one of the treatments on this page, or add 15 minutes of Kobido to the Hygiene Facial, HydraFacial Treatment and Candela Glacé Facial for €25. Tell us when you book, or choose it as an add-on on the booking page.

    Which salon does Kobido?

Both. Every treatment on this page is at Haku Ranelagh and at Haku Blackrock, at the same price.

Is Kobido the same as the Bio-Meso + Kobido facial?

No. The Bio-Meso + Kobido facial (€250, 55 minutes) pairs Kobido with Bio-Meso, a clinical skin treatment; the page on PDRN and Bio-Meso explains that part.

How often should I have a facial?

We suggest a facial about every 7 weeks. Your therapist may suggest otherwise once they've seen your skin.

Is there anything I should tell you first?

Tell us when you book about any skin condition, a recent peel or laser treatment, or anything you are using on your skin, and your therapist will adjust the treatment.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. With more than 24 hours' notice there is no charge. Within 24 hours of your appointment, the fee is 50% of the appointment value, and a no-show is charged 100%. Fees are taken from the deposit you paid when booking, and any remaining balance is charged to the same card.

Can I pay with a gift voucher?

Yes. It can be used on any treatment or product, and over several visits until it is used up. It can't be exchanged for cash.

    Can I request a therapist?

You can request a therapist when you book. We can't promise the same person every time, because the diary sometimes changes on the day.
